Shipping, Returns & Warranty

SHIPPING A FIREARM – FFL’S AND TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

Olympus Arms will ONLY transfer ownership of a firearm to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means we cannot ship directly to you unless you are an FFL holder.

If you do not hold a valid FFL, we will transfer your purchased firearm to your choice of a licensed gun dealer in your state.

It is your responsibility:

  • to ensure that a firearm is legal to own in your state.
  • to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer.

Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transfer fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer and is usually paid to them when you pick up your purchase. Please check with your local dealer concerning their policies.

You are responsible for the following:

  • contacting the dealer to ensure that they are willing to receive the shipment.
  • contacting the dealer to request that they email a copy of their FFL to [email protected].

**Please keep in mind, we will be unable to ship your order until we have received a copy of their FFL.**


CANCELLATIONS

Firearms

*Order cancellations for firearms are subject to a 20% restocking fee.* Cancellations must be verified by a customer service representative. If the cancellation request is received after the item has shipped, you will be responsible for the shipping cost back to our facility.

Accessories & Apparel

Orders for accessories and/or apparel may be cancelled without penalty if the cancellation request is received BEFORE the accessories have shipped. Cancellations must be verified by a customer service representative. If the cancellation request is received AFTER the accessories have shipped, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs if you wish to proceed with cancellation.


RETURNS

Firearms

**FIREARMS CANNOT BE RETURNED AFTER THE TRANSFER PROCESS HAS BEEN COMPLETED.** Olympus Arms will not pay for return shipping of any firearms that need to undergo warranty inspection/repair. Olympus Arms will pay for the return shipping back to the customer. If the firearm is repaired and found to work within the correct specifications by our technicians, then we will ship the firearm back to the customer. If the firearm has been deemed to require replacement, then Olympus Arms will ship the new replacement firearm to a licensed FFL ONLY. If only partial replacement of the complete firearm is needed (I.E. the upper receiver) then Olympus Arms will still ship the completed firearm back to the customer.

Non-Firearms

Olympus Arms will not pay for return shipping of any receiver/chassis sets, accessories, or manufactured parts that need to be inspected in-house for possible replacement. Olympus Arms will cover the cost of shipping to the customer if the part has been deemed worthy of replacement. If the receiver/chassis set, accessory, or manufactured part was purchased through a Olympus Arms Dealer/Reseller, then the customer must reach out to the party that they originally purchased the item from so that they can start the RMA/Return process through them first.


WARRANTY POLICIES

All products manufactured by Olympus Arms (‘Products’) are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment of Products. Such Products will only include Olympus Arms manufactured goods, including rifle parts and machined component parts. All other products manufactured by third parties, which may include ‘add-on’ components and / or ‘accessories,’ and may (or may not) be sold on Olympus Arms’ firearm platforms and may (or may not) be sold on Olympus Arms’ website, will be held under the warranty provisions as provided by the third parties.

If any Products are deemed defective in any way by the Buyer, such Products must be returned to Olympus Arms for inspection. If, after receipt and inspection of the Products, Olympus Arms determines that defects have occurred due to manufacturing and / or variances beyond stated product specifications, all defective Products will be either repaired, replaced or refunded as decided by Olympus Arms. Olympus Arms does not warrant products that are deemed defective or otherwise unusable due to normal wear and tear, neglect, abuse, misuse, age tarnishing, or any other condition that may affect the product beyond the warranty stated above.

ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, EXCEPT FOR ANY WARRANTIES SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT, ARE EXCLUDED AND SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE PRODUCTS SOLD.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED HEREIN, OLYMPUS ARMS SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE TO BUYER FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF OLYMPUS ARMS PRODUCT, EVEN IF OLYMPUS ARMS HAS BEEN APPRISED OF THE LIKELIHOOD OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OLYMPUS ARMS LIABILITY EXCEED THE AGGREGATE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS PURCHASE BY THE BUYER.
